Spa Retreat Sample Itinerary
Season: Spring/Summer
Day 1 - Wednesday
Arrive in the afternoon.
Settle into your room and relax a bit.
Enjoy a casual dinner at Christianos, located on Hwy 23 in Green Lake for some amazing pizza. The Minneapolis Star Tribune said their pizza is one of the state’s best.
Finish off the night by taking a leisurely stroll along the lake. Sit on a bench and enjoy the silence and each other’s company.
Day 2 - Thursday
Head to the Sunroom for Eggs Benedict and our French Toast with a side of yogurt.
Spend the day at Evensong Spa. Start off your day with our signature Inner Journey Massage in our couple’s suite.
Next treat yourself to a spa healthy lunch in the Evensong Spa Café. Let your worries drift away.
Off to your next service, the Essential Spa Pedicure, sit side by side while receiving this relaxing treatment. When finished, take some time to walk the labyrinth and indulge in the waterfall whirlpool and steam room.
Take a short drive to Norton’s restaurant, located on South Lawson Drive, for cocktails and dinner. Steaks and seafood highlight the menu at this lakeside restaurant.
Day 3 - Friday
Grab a light breakfast in the Sunroom with the fresh seasonal fruit plate while enjoying the view.
It’s time for more relaxation! Head back over to Evensong Spa to receive the spa treatment that you didn’t have time for yesterday. Indulge in the Evensong 7 Circuit Facial.
Take advantage of the beautiful day by grabbing your book and heading to the spa’s outdoor lounge chairs that offer a great view of Tuscumbia Golf Course. Enjoy a refreshing glass of wine.
Treat yourself to a mid-afternoon snack at the Pump House Parlor (on-site). Try one of our tempting Kemps ice cream flavors.
Take some time to freshen up before dinner. The BoatHouse Pub offers pub-style fare from appetizers to salads and sandwiches. Enjoy a wide selection of domestic beer, imports and specialty drinks.
After dinner plug some quarters in the jukebox and order a delicious ice cream drink such as a grasshopper or turtle.
Day 4 - Saturday
Today it’s time to take in some of the local sights.
Head over to Ripon for breakfast at Fat Bruce's, which offers freshly baked breads and breakfast items.
After breakfast, it’s time to shop! Check out the shops of downtown Ripon. Pick out a new outfit or find something new for your home at the world famous Tracy Porter store.
Grab lunch back at the resort in the Sunroom or down in the BoatHouse Pub (both on-site). Afterwards, take a short drive to Princeton, which is just 10 minutes west of Green Lake, and check out the unique shops on Water Street.
As the day winds down, walk over to Grey Rock restaurant (on-site) and indulge in the fine dining experience Grey Rock offers. Kick back and enjoy the live pianist in the lounge after your fabulous dinner overlooking Green Lake.
Before turning in for the night, take a dip in our outdoor or indoor pool during adult only swim from 10 to 11 p.m.
Day 5 - Sunday
Grey Rock’s champagne brunch which offers an array of delicious items on it begins at 9 a.m., leaving you plenty of time to pack before check out at 11 a.m.
