Golf Excursion Sample Itinerary
Season: Spring/Summer
Day 1 - Wednesday
Arrive in the afternoon.
Settle into your room and relax a bit.
Enjoy dinner at the Waterfront Grill, located on the lake and adjacent to downtown.
Day 2 - Thursday
Head to the Sunroom for Eggs Benedict and our French Toast with a side of yogurt.
Let your golf excursion begin today with 18 holes at Tuscumbia golf course, located just across the street from the resort. Tuscumbia is the oldest public golf course in the state.
After you’ve turned in your carts, head inside the main lodge for a late lunch at 680 North.
Let the fun continue by traveling to Mecan River Outfitters, located about 13 miles west of Green Lake. Show off your adventurous side by taking a canoe or kayak ride down the Mecan River.
After a long day, enjoy a casual dinner at the Gooseblind, located in downtown Green Lake.
After dinner, stick around the Gooseblind to catch a baseball game on one of their many TV's.
Day 3 - Friday
Grab a light breakfast in the Sunroom with the fresh seasonal fruit plate while enjoying the view.
Before heading to the golf course for the day, start out with Evensong Spa’s Hole-in-One Golfer’s Massage. Your massage can be customized for pre-game conditioning and will keep you out on the course and swinging your best.
Today, tackle 18 holes at the 2008 Wisconsin Golf Course of the Year, Lawsonia. The Golf Courses of Lawsonia, just a few miles down the road on Hwy 23, consist of a Woodlands Course and a Links Course.
After a long day of golf, an Escapade sightseeing cruise is the perfect way to spend the rest of your afternoon. Learn all about Green Lake and the beautiful estates that surround it from our captains while enjoying your favorite beverage.
Find a table on the BoatHouse Patio(on-site) and enjoy the beautiful scenery while having a cocktail before dinner. Try our Friday Fisherman’s Feast special.
Head inside to the BoatHouse Pub to check out their unique beer offerings, plug some quarters in the jukebox and start a game of pool or darts.
Day 4 - Saturday
Today, play the challenging and beautiful Mascoutin Golf Course, located 8 miles north of Green Lake off of Hwy. 49. Mascoutin offers 27 holes of golf and is home to many state and area tournaments.
Spend the afternoon enjoying the lake. Rent a pontoon boat (on-site). Before you leave, stop in the BoatHouse for a cooler of drinks to take along. Try you hand at fishing or just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. Fishing poles can be rented at the recreation tent.
Dine at Grey Rock restaurant (on-site) and indulge in the fine dining experience Grey Rock offers. Kick back and enjoy the live pianist in the lounge after your fabulous dinner overlooking Green Lake.
Day 5 - Sunday
Grey Rock’s champagne brunch which offers an array of delicious items on it begins at 9 a.m., leaving you plenty of time to pack before check out at 11 a.m.

Be sure to make advance reservations for your tee times, your services at Evensong Spa, Escapade cruise and your meals at Grey Rock.
Don’t forget your golf clubs and balls, as well as your bathing suits, hat, sunglasses and camera.
