Girlfriend Getaway Sample Itinerary
Season: Summer
Day 1 - Wednesday
Arrive in the afternoon.
Settle into your room and relax a bit.
Get acquainted with the area by renting some bicycles (on-site) and taking a ride around town.
Enjoy dinner at the Waterfront Grill, located on the lake and adjacent to downtown.
Day 2 - Thursday
Let your day of relaxation begin!
Grab a light breakfast in the Sunroom with the fresh seasonal fruit plate while enjoying the view.
Spend your day at Evensong Spa, and enjoy one of their day passes which include spa healthy cuisine for lunch. Your choices are numerous: massages, scrubs, aroma wraps, facials, manicures and pedicures.
Wrap up the day at the spa with a glass of wine in front of the relaxation room fireplace and immerse yourself in the waterfall whirlpool.
Enjoy a casual dinner at the Gooseblind, located in downtown Green Lake.
Before turning in for the night, put on your bathing suits and take a dip in the indoor pool during adult swim from 10 to 11 p.m.
Day 3 - Friday
Before you take off for the day's activities, gather everyone for a group photo overlooking the lake.
Take a short drive to Ripon for breakfast at Fat Bruce’s which offers freshly baked breads and breakfast items.
Check out the shops of downtown Ripon. Pick out a new outfit or find a treasure to take home while you are out and about.
Take some time to freshen up before dinner. Walk over to Grey Rock restaurant (on-site) and indulge in the fine dining experience Grey Rock offers. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking view of the lake and our expansive menu and outstanding service will leave you wanting more.
Treat yourself to an after-dinner snack at the Pump House Parlor (on-site). Try one of our delicious Kemps ice cream flavors. Or indulge in the decadent Brownie Bomb.
Then head over to the BoatHouse Pub (on-site). Plug some quarters in the jukebox and challenge the girls to a game of pool or darts.
Day 4 - Saturday
Head to Sugar Lips in downtown Green Lake for a light breakfast. Grab a latte and a scone or danish.
After breakfast, it’s time to shop! Take a short drive to Princeton, which is just 10 minutes west of Green Lake. Check out the famous Princeton Flea Market and the shops on Water Street which offer a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
Grab lunch back at the resort in the Sunroom or BoatHouse Pub (on-site). Then let the afternoon be a time to relax. Take a dip in the indoor or outdoor pool, take a sightseeing cruise on the Escapade yacht (on-site) or head back over to Evensong Spa to walk the labyrinth or spend some time together in the relaxation room or waterfall whirlpool.
Take a short drive to Norton's restaurant, located lakeside on South Lawson Drive for cocktails and dinner. Steaks and seafood highlight the menu.
Enjoy the live pianist in the Grey Rock Lounge (on-site) after your fabulous dinner.
Day 5 - Sunday
Grey Rock’s champagne brunch which offers an array of delicious items on it begins at 9 a.m., leaving you plenty of time to pack and rest before check out at 11 a.m.
