Family cruising around Green Lake

Family Fun Sample Itinerary

Season: Summer
Day 1 - Wednesday

Arrive in the afternoon.

Settle into your room and relax a bit.

Let the kids take a swim in the outdoor pool to unwind from your drive here.

Enjoy a casual dinner at the Goose Blind, located in downtown Green Lake.

Then head down the street for Concerts in the Park (check schedule). They have different entertainment each week during the summer and you get a different view of the lake than you do from the resort.

Day 2 - Thursday

Head to the Sunroom for Eggs Benedict or try our Strawberry Banana Chocolate Pancakes.

Spend a fun day enjoying the lake. Rent a pontoon boat, kayak, or jet-ski (located on-site). Maybe even try your hand at fishing. Fishing poles can be rented at the recreation tent.

Enjoy a casual lunch at the BoatHouse patio and then head back on the water for the afternoon.

Try Christianos for dinner, located on Hwy 23 in Green Lake, for some amazing pizza. The Minneapolis Star Tribune said their pizza is one of the state’s finest.

Day 3 - Friday

Check out the Little Corporal in downtown Green Lake for breakfast. This diner-style restaurant has a diverse menu that will fuel you up for a fun day ahead.

When you return to the resort, check out our Family Activities Program calendar at the front desk and see what our Recreation staff has planned for the day. Lawn Games, Arts and Crafts, Family Bingo and many other family activities are planned daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Join in on the fun!

Take an afternoon Escapade sightseeing cruise and explore Green Lake from our 60-foot catamaran-style yacht. Learn how Green Lake became what it is, hear stories of area landmarks and take in the interesting history of local families.

Enjoy a great Friday night fish fry at Walker's of Kollerville, which is only a short drive away on County A and K.

Before the sun goes down, gather everyone together for a family photo with the lake view behind you to help you remember your trip.

Day 4 - Saturday

Stop in the Sunroom for a delicious
start to your day.

After breakfast, it's time to explore! Downtown Green Lake is home to a number of shops and the Green Lake Town Square where you can find family fun activities and classes. Check out the famous Princeton Flea Market, just 10 minutes away. And don't forget a stop at the Ripon Good! Cookie Factory Outlet in Ripon. Grab a quick lunch at Fat Bruce's in Ripon, where they serve great sandwiches and wraps.

When you return to the resort, spend the rest of the day renting a bike and taking a ride on the area's trails, or stay on property and do some swimming or play some tennis.

Bring your family together for dinner
at the BoatHouse. Then indulge in an after dinner treat at the Pump House Parlor.

Before turning in for the night, take a dip in our outdoor or indoor pool. Or challenge the kids to a game of ping pong in the game room.
