Family Fun Sample Itinerary
Season: Fall
Day 1 - Friday
Arrive in the afternoon - check in begins at 3 p.m.
Settle into your room and relax a bit.
Enjoy a casual dinner at Christianos, located on Hwy 23 in Green Lake for some amazing pizza. Try the Pizza Florentine or Combo “Danza,” or if you can’t decide get one of each! The Minneapolis Star Tribune said their pizza is one of the state’s finest.
After dinner, take a dip in our indoor pool. Or challenge the kids to a game of ping pong in the game room.
Day 2 - Saturday
Head to the Sunroom (on-site) for Eggs Benedict and our French Toast with a side of yogurt. Also be sure to get an Ancora coffee or espresso. Take in the view as the sun shines down on the lake.
Enjoy the outdoors by spending time hiking through the trails on property, biking on the areas trails. Either one will be a fun way to spend quality time with your family.
Take a short drive to Ripon and pick up lunch at one of their many restaurants.
Be sure to stop at the Rippin Good Cookie Outlet. Sample the fresh cookies prepared on site and grab a couple of your family's favorite treats.
Stop in for a couple games of bowling at Plaza Bowl. You could also take a short 30 minute drive to enjoy the EAA Museum or to catch the latest movie in Oshkosh. The EAA Museum is all about aviation and features exhibits about the history of flight.
After a day of area fun, let the kids take a dip in the indoor pool while you supervise from one of our two whirlpools.
Head to the BoatHouse Pub (on-site) for dinner. Choose from a variety of specialty burgers and sandwiches. Maybe try your hand at our food challenge the BoatHouse Belly Buster.
After dinner, gather the family together for a group photograph by the lake.
There is still plenty of time to check out a board game from the front desk and settle into your room.
Day 3 - Sunday
Grey Rock's champagne brunch which offers an array of delicious items on it begins at 9 a.m., leaving you plenty of time to pack before you check out at 11 a.m.
