Crank it up! A number of studies show that
listening to music, especially classical music, may
help you unwind.
Get creative. Creating something, whether it is
artwork, crafts or a poem, can help relax you. It's
stress-reducing to work on a project that takes your
focus away from your own thoughts and worries.
Eat fewer cookies. Refined carbs like white
rice and baked goods can increase stress hormones.
Eat more omega-3 fatty acids, eggs, whole grain
cereals and broccoli.
Just say no. Make a rule that you won't say yes
immediately when someone asks you to do
something. Your to-do list is long enough. Take some
time for yourself.
