As the oldest resort town west of Niagra Falls, Green
Lake and the surrounding areas are steeped in
history. Whether you take the beaten path and
discover our historical tour around our property, or
borrow
a map and cruise around the lake to see points of
interest, you are sure to discover what makes Green
Lake so special.
Stop by the front desk for a brief history on the original Heidel family and how they came to establish the place we know today. You can also head downtown to the Dartford Historical Society for a very informative visit about the town of Dartford, now called Green Lake. However you choose to dig up the roots of this town, you'll leave feeling enriched and enlightened. |

United States each year in parks, back yards and on
the White House lawn.
Americans spend 2 billion dollars on Easter candy, and eat 7.1 billion pounds each year. 60 million chocolate bunnies are sold each Easter. 74% of children eat the ears of a chocolate bunny first, while 13% eat the feet first, and 10% eat the tails first.
