This time of year is great to getaway: The kids are out of school, you need a break from the workaday world, and the weather is beautiful. We understand the needs of our guests, that's why we chose this time of year to offer our $99* rate. Stay in our standard room Sunday through Thursday for only $99* a night. So now that you're visiting, what's there to do? Plenty! Thrasher's Opera House always puts on a show - literally! On June 19 come see "Trout fishing in America" (pictured right): Music for people who take their fun seriously. They are a rare mix of musicianship, humor, and inspiration. Aside from the usual, hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, summertime activities, Green Lake is home to some fabulous festivals. June 19 is Summer Solstice: Celebrating the longest day of the year. Tidbits: Nestled on the banks of the Puchyan River valley, Bloch's Farm on Highway 23 in Green Lake, Wisconsin has been a family homestead for nearly 100 years. This family business has grown in the last 18 years from an organic farm market stand to one of Wisconsin's most sophisticated garden centers. Bloch's Farm offers an abundance of blooms, annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, window boxes, hanging baskets, herbs and an amazing selection of orchids.
Upcoming events: Open House on Saturday, June 12 - a day filled with seminars and demonstrations from our landscape experts and guest speakers. Enjoy delicious food, refreshments, door prizes and more.

BoatHouse has added quite a few new options to their menu. Some of the wonderful new items include: Calamari, Pork Spring Rolls, Caprese Salad (topped with fresh mozzarella and tomato), and my new favorite: Crab Cake Sandwich. The real specialty is the Big Barbeque Bash held every Friday on our patio. Pull up a chair to a sizzling BBQ Brisket or a slice of Peanut Butter Pie, both will keep you coming back to our outdoor bash!

If you didn't have the pleasure of attending our Steak Fry last year, you'll have another chance. Steak Fry Saturdays are back by popular demand. Grill your steak to perfection or have our chef do it for you. Accompanied by a large buffet and many specialty drinks, the Steak Fry is sure to be a hit again.
