Where getting away means getting together
Greetings,
Many people listen to music, the TV or something else the majority of their waking hours. I definitely fall into that group of people and spend most of my time listening to music. Music inspires us, moves us, and can make for a spectacular evening when seeing a live performance. Why not schedule in a concert, theater performance or karoke next time you are out and about?

Happy Travels,

Scott Krause

Heidel Singers to Perform
Join us for an exciting, new entertainment experience at Heidel House Resort. The Heidel Singers present an all-new show about a concert that never happened. If Elvis were alive today and looked like he did in the 70's, what would a concert of his be like in 2008? Well, the minds of Let Me Be Frank Productions think he would be funny and have special guest stars that sing with him.

Shows will be July 27, 28, 29, 30, plus August 3, 5, 6, 10, 11 and 14.
Cocktails begin at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
Cost for the dinner and show is $40 per person.
Call 920.294.3344 for reservations. To learn more about the singers click here.

Soft and Smooth Hands
Evensong Spa makes getting soft and smooth hands as easy as can be. There are many luxurious manicure options to choose from. The Solar Song Manicure is one example. It is an intensive therapy for dry and parched hands and cuticles, to combat the effects of the sun, sand, chlorine and extreme cold climates brought on by seasonal changes. Begin with an exfoliation of sweet almond oil sea salt that we apply to the hands, followed by a moisturizing lotion massage. Finish with a meticulous polish of the nails. Don't forget to add on a brand new Perfect Sense Paraffin Treatment to any of our manicures. These single-use treatments are perfect for dry, cracked hands. Manicures tend to last longer with a paraffin treatment. They are also very relaxing and great for the muscles in your hands and feet. Add a 15-minute paraffin treatment on to your manicure or pedicure for only $15.

Outdoor Spaces
Your backyard is an important part of your house. And the summer season is a great time to enjoy your backyard. Here are a couple of ideas to make your outdoor space more inviting and guaranteed to bring about summer fun.

Use Plants for Backyard Privacy. Gather potted plants from around the garden to create a living screen. Experiment with tall varieties, such as ornamental grasses, and flowering plants. You'll be rewarded with privacy, shelter from the wind, and the beautiful aroma of blooms and foliage around you.

Create a Backyard Fire Pit. And you don't even have to dig a hole into your yard. There are small, portable basins that you can buy, which will create a campfire atmosphere.

Add Comfortable Chairs and Cushions. Or maybe even a hammock. It will feel like you brought your living room outdoors.

Don't Forget to Prepare for Mosquitoes. Marigold flowers tend to keep the mosquitoes away. And a citronella candle would also help fight the bugs and give some ambiance to your backyard as well.
