Enjoy a romantic meal with the one you care about most this month during our Chef's Tasting at Grey Rock. You may choose one item from each course for just $37.95 per person.

After dinner, relax with a classic cocktail, enjoy the cigar and cognac room or just kick back by the fireplace. Enjoy music in Grey Rock Lounge on Saturday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Two new additions to the line-up are Steve Elegreet and Helen Exner. Steve has been playing the piano since he was four years old. He plays all varieties of music and is also a cellist in the Beaver Dam Area Orchestra. Helen is a classically trained pianist whose style ranges from little-known blues performed in the 1920's to familiar popular songs from the 1930's and 1940's, Motown, Top 40 pop and straight-ahead jazz piano.

Beating the Winter Blues
Many of us feel a little "blah" this time of year. Once the holidays are over and summer seems like an eternity away, it's easy to see why people feel a little down. Here is a list of things to do to fight the winter blues:

1. Embrace winter. There are many fun things to do outside. Try sledding, ice-skating, snowboarding or skiing. These activities are not just for kids and they are a great form of exercise.

2. Keep your social calendar full. Treat yourself to a weekend trip or day at the spa. Or book tickets to a sporting event or concert. Having something to look forward to will help get you through the cold months of winter.

3. Indulge in summer foods. Munch citrus fruits and berries, enjoy some ice cream and grill hotdogs and hamburgers inside. You will feel like its summer in no time!

4. Exercise! Vigorous exercise can boost your mood immediately. It is great for relieving stress and you will have more energy throughout the day. And bathing suit weather is right around the corner.

Smooth, Radiant Skin
Keep skin looking and feeling great this winter by choosing from many different facials offered at Evensong Spa. One of our most popular facials is the Evensong 7 Circuit Facial. It is a plant-based, deep cleansing facial with exfoliation, steam and massage and is suitable for all skin types. Botanical serums and a customized mask will clarify, nourish and balance skin. Fun and Bizarre Holidays in February
February 4 - Thank a Mailman Day
Neither rain nor snow nor sleet nor hail, stops the mail. Take time today to say thank you to a mailman for bringing your mail every day.

February 10 - Umbrella Day
What an invaluable invention!! My favorite umbreallas are the big, colorful kind.

February 24 - National Tortilla Chip Day
Did you know that the corn chip was brought to the United States from Mexico by Texas businessman Elmer Doolin? Celebrate with a handful of crunchy, tasty corn chips and your favorite salsa or dip.
