August - Most Popular
Birth Month
I would be surprised if you didn't know someone
whose birthday was coming up. Why? According to
Hallmark, August is the most popular birth month, with
July coming in second. If you aren't planning the party,
but simply need help deciding on a gift,
here are a couple of ideas.
Whether the person is a close family member or just
an acquaintance, you must know at least one thing
they
like: cooking, reading, golf, knitting, traveling, games,
toys, etc. Center your gift around that and create a gift
basket. Purchase a few items related to what they
like, wrap individually and place in a basket, or for
easy wrapping - arrange items in a basket, wrap the

Donor Travel Card
With the help of willing donors, the American Red
Cross saves thousands of lives with the blood they
collect. If you are a donor and travel outside the
country often, I recommend getting a Donor Travel
Card to keep track of where you've visited during your
travels. My list of countries was starting to get a little
too long to recall each time, so I recently received a
card to put in my wallet that list the countries I've
visited and the dates I was there. They really look out
for us travelers!
