Spring into an Exercise Routine
Spring is the perfect time to break out of your winter
exercise rut and stretch those muscles. Get outside
and take in the fresh air and sunshine while beginning
a healthy habit. Here are a couple of tips to keep in
mind before you start:
Gear up. What you wear can really make a
difference in your workout. Make sure your shoes don't
pinch or cut off circulation. Look for well-cushioned
shoes with arch support. Comfortable, stylish clothing
can inspire you to workout more regularly.
Start slow. Working out too hard, too soon can
increase your risk of strains and sprains. Fitness
experts say to start with low to moderate level activities
and slowly increase the duration and intensity of the
activities. A good workout should leave you a little sore
the next day, not incapacitated.
Keep it fun. If exercise becomes a bore, you
won't be exercising very long. Link exercise to a fun
activity or pastime and add variety.

Eco-Friendly Travel Tips
In honor of Heidel House Resort's Travel Green
Wisconsin certification, here is our monthly tip to help
you stay eco-friendly while you travel.
To keep track of which towel belongs to which
family member, pack a handful of safety pins and
small colored beads. Attach a pin and bead to each
towel, using a designated color for each family
member. Remove the pins before checkout.
