Enjoy our Chef's Wine Pairing June 14, July 24 and August 19 starting at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy great food and wine lakeside. $45 per person. Reservations required. Hors d’ oeuvres served with the cocktail reception before dinner, and then five dinner items will be paired with five wines:
- Ancho lime shrimp ceviche with avocado, jicama and mandarin oranges served with corn tortilla chips. Paired with a Door Peninsula Chardonnay
- Baby iceberg lettuce stuffed with papaya, mango, jicama, grilled ramps and sweet corn tossed in cilantro chimichurra and served with fried plantains and roasted poblano dressing. Paired with a Door Peninsula Lacrosse Wine
- Sopa de lima (classic lime soup) with achiote chicken, cilantro corn dumplings, epezote and cumin dusted onion straws. Paired with a Door Peninsula White Wine
- Chipotle mojo eye rib steak served with smashed sweet potatoes and plantains, honey and pasilla glazed cactus paddle and red mole. Paired with a Door Peninsula Red Wine Oak Aged
- Pineapple flan with tequila flamed mangos, toasted coconut and cayenne pepper. Paired with Sunset Splash, a White Pineapple Sangria
During the pairing event there will be live entertainment by Bob Balsley who will take you on a journey from jazz to classical with side trips to every imaginable style
Serving some of the freshest seafood in the Midwest we will be have our New England Lobster Bakes this year on July 11, August 1 and August 29. Reservations required.
